Obituary for Teresa Ann Smith
Teresa Ann Burroughs Smith 84 passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 she was born on April 16, 1927. A visitation will be on Monday, November 7th at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 5 to 7 PM, service will be on Tuesday, November 8th at Eatonton Presbyterian Church at 10 AM, burial will be at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. Mrs. Smith was a graduate of Girls High School in Atlanta, Georgia. Faithful wife of Leon Smith Loving child of Alvin and Bessie Burroughs, Dedicated mother of Brenda Bracken, Sandra Westcott, and Leon Smith, Jr. (deceased) Grandmother to five grandsons and great-grandmother to 5 great-grandchildren. Longtime member of Eatonton Presbyterian Church where she served in many capacities. Retiree from the DeKalb County Board of Education having driven special handicapped children. Enjoyed and appreciated her neighbors in Morgan Estates and Reynolds Plantation. Appreciated and loved her friends in ladies circle and choir, loved to cook and wanted everyone to have plenty to eat. Unselfish servant to her family and friends and deeply loved by all who knew her. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of the arrangements In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Eatonton Presbyterian Youth Group.
