Obituary for Ralph Roberts
Ralph Roberts 79, of Eatonton passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012. Mr. Roberts was a resident of Eatonton for the majority of his life. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Vernie Roberts. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 10 AM, the service will be at 11 AM also at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel. Pallbearers are: Jay Moore, Cory Moore, Chris Wilson, Lynn Sweetser, Chip Roberts and Paul Roach. Mr. Roberts was born on May 27, 1933 in Cherokee, North Carolina to James & Leoria Huey Roberts. Through his life he worked as a commercial fisherman and was also a carpenter. Mr. Roberts is survived by his children: Eddie Roberts & wife Nora Lee of Eatonton, Marvin Roberts of Eatonton, Bobby Roberts of Eatonton, Cathy Vandeman of Madison, Bonnie Moore & husband Wallace of Milledgeville, David Roberts & wife Angela of Eatonton, and Mike Roberts & wife Amy of Eatonton. Brothers: Ross and Raymond Roberts, Sister: Ruby Hallman. Grandchildren: Chris Wilson, John Wilson, Paul Roach Jr., Jay Moore, Cory Moore, Victoria McDerment, Amy Lee Coxwell, Ashley Roberts, Matthew Roberts, Marvin Roberts Jr. and Robin Rene Roberts. Great Grandchildren: Summer Styles, Haley Moore, CJ Moore, Meadow Moore, Drew McDerment, Maddie McDerment, Emma Coxwell, Ethan Coxwell, Kaleigh Roberts.
