Obituary for Alice Cumbie
Alice Cumbie 73, of Eatonton passed away at her residence on August 27, 2015. She was born on January 17, 1942 to the late Eugene Davis and Essie Burdette Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Randy Eugene Cumbie, brothers Billy and James Davis, sisters Norma Jean Hembree and Christine Roark. Alice enjoyed fishing but devoted most her time to taking care of her family.
The visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Friday,
August 28, 2015 at 3 PM, followed by the service at 4 PM.
The burial will be at Eatonton Memorial Park following the service.
She is survived by her loving husband William Carroll Cumbie, daughter Alicha Cumbie Bryant, sisters Clyde Marshall and husband Clifford, Doris Arthur and husband Curtis, Jean Nolan and Sadie Manville, grandchildren Joseph Cumbie and wife Rachel, Amanda Huey and husband Trapper, Krystal Allen and husband Kevin also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
