Obituary for Maerene Presley
Maerene Carroll Presley passed away on August 3, 2019 in an Athens Hospital. She was born in Montezuma, Ga., to the late Woodrow and Jewell Davis Carroll. Maerene moved to Eatonton in 1986, and worked at Rusty’s for more than 20yrs., afterwards she worked at the Eagle One Restaurant. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Terrell Presley. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 10:30 to 12:30 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel, with a service following at 12:30. The burial will be at 2:30 at the Georgia War Veterans Cemetery in Milledgeville. Maerene is survived by her children Richard (Leslie) Carroll of Gray and Kimberly Knight of Eatonton, as well as, a sister Linda( Alan) Jarmon of Cartersville, Ga. Her grandchildren Daniel Carroll of Eatonton, Alana Lawhorn , Dalton Carroll both of Gray, Treydyn Little and Keydyn Little both of Eatonton and a niece Christy (Steven) McCormick of Adairsville, Ga. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
