Obituary for Charles Howard Batchelor Sr.
Charles Howard Batchelor, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. He was born in Eatonton, Ga. to the late Jesse Calvin and Carrie Ellen Davis Batchelor. He served in the National Guard for 8 years, and was retired Ranger with the Georgia Forestry Commission. He was a simple country boy who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers Harold and James Batchelor, and 2 sisters Betty Mize and June Greenway. The visitation will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 1pm. The service will follow at 2pm. at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel. The burial will be at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by his children Chuck(Pat) Batchelor and Dinah Anderson, sisters Christine(Carl)Jackson, Sharon Wilson, Lynn(Robert)Johns and Wanda Johnson, brothers Johnny(Linda) Batchelor and Robert T.(Nell) Batchelor all of Eatonton. He has 3 grandchildren Katie Lynn (Shawn) Waller, Toni-Michelle(Clint) Paradise and Tommy(Sam) Smith, and 6 great grandchildren, Audrey Dann, Austin Waller, Axel Waller, Graysen Paradise, Thomas Smith and Alyssa Connell, and several nieces and nephews.
