Obituary for Howard Parker
Howard L. Parker, 83 years old went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of Lake Shore Community Church. Howard was born in Knoxville, TN on July 1, 1933 to the late Jesse Parker and Martha Ellen Henry Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 5 brothers. The visitation will be on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 6 to 8 PM. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11 AM at Eatonton Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Danny Lyles. Howard is survived by his wife of 64 years Emma Jones Parker, daughter Sandy Berkner (Mike), son Johnny Parker (Jan) all of Eatonton, brother Ron Parker of Knoxville, TN, grandchildren Heather Daniel (Jamison) of Knoxville, TN, Kevin Berkner of Kitty hawk, NC, Dustin Parker (Misty) of Knoxville, TN, Calvin Greene (Debra) of Knoxville, TN, Chris Greene of Minneapolis, MN, 8 great grand children and special friend David Foster of Eatonton. The family has requested that donations can be made to Lake Shore Community Church or Serenity Hospice in his memory.
