Wilma Louise Poole (90) passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Louise was born on May 6, 1925 in Winter Garden, Florida to the late Carl Thomas Griffin and Clara Buffington Hudson. She was a lifelong member of the Eatonton Presbyterian Church. She was employed by the Eatonton Enterprise Aluminum Company for 43 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years Jimmy Poole and son Thomas Hill.
Survivors include her children, daughter Gwen Conner (Marshall) of Greensboro, son Michael Poole (Marilyn) of Athens, daughter
Patti Swymer (Dee) of Eatonton. Six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Stepbrother Ronald Griffin (Jane) of Eatonton and stepsister Barbara Hadden (Howard) of Greensboro and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Eatonton Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 1 to 2 PM and the service of celebration of Louise’s life will follow at 2 PM. Interment will follow in Eatonton Memorial Park
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eatonton Presbyterian Church in her memory.
