Obituary for William Carl Jackson SR.
William Carl Jackson, Sr. passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019, at his residence. He was born in Hancock, Co., to the late William Thomas and Audrey Harvill Jackson. Mr. Carl served in the Navy and is a member of the VFW. He moved to Eatonton from Hancock, Co., 65yrs. ago, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He spent most of his life as a self employed Auto Mechanic. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 2pm. at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel, with a service following at 3pm. He is survived by his loving wife of 61yrs., Christine Jackson of Eatonton, his son William Carl Jackson, Jr. San Antonio, Tx, two sisters Anita Stewart of Madison and Juanita Hill of Carnesville, Ga., 4 grandchildren. 13 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Lone Oak Baptist Church. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
