Obituary for William "Bill" Smith
William (Bill) Smith, 76 of Eatonton passed away at his residence on Monday, July 11, 2016. Bill was born in Ashland, PA on October 13, 1939. He was retired from Burns Security where he was a security officer, he was a member of the ham radio operators club for disasters, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. The visitation will be on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel. The service will be on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Crossroads Baptist Church at 3 PM. Officiated by Rev. John McMillian Jr. Burial will follow the service at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his children Ferman ‘Bill’ Smith (Sandy), Dawn Parham (Wayne) and Linda Stowe, grandchildren Ricky Phillips Jr. (Danielle), A.J. Mathis (Amanda), Amanda Davis (Jesse), Megan Davis (Kyle), Kristopher Parham (Brandy), Allison Parham, Lorie-Ann Morgan, Cody J. Hampton (Ashley), Brittany Hargrove (Ricky), Bradley Lee Clark (Jennifer) and 15 great grandchildren.
