Obituary for William "Bill" Bryan Reed
Bill Reed 60, of Eatonton passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Valdosta, Ga. on February 14th, 1954, to the parents of the late Frederick Russell Reed, Sr. and Stella Frances Taylor Reed. Bill moved to Eatonton in 1977, and went to work for Georgia Power Plant Branch. Bill has been married to Cheryl Fuller for the past 36 years, and they have 3 children. He was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church, as well as, Ducks Unlimited and the National Wildlife Turkey Federation. The visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM, the service will be on Friday, January 16, 2015, at 2 PM at Union Chapel. The burial will be private. He is survived by his wife: Cheryl Fuller Reed of Eatonton, 3 daughters: Rebecca Reed McMichael (Tim) of Buckhead, Kady Reed Hill (Phillip, Jr) of Buckhead and April Anne Reed of Eatonton. Brothers Frederick Russell Reed Jr. and Michael Glenn Reed both of Warwick, Ga., Sisters Karen Reed Green and JoAnne Reed Cook (Larry) of Albany, Ga. Grandchildren Clay McMichael, Walt McMichael, Avery Hill and Brantley Hill. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requested donations be made to Gatewood School.
