Obituary for Willard Russell Durham
Mr. Willard Russell Durham, 88, passed peacefully on Friday, March 20, 2015. Will was a Navy Veteran, serving in WWII in the South Pacific. After serving in the US Navy, Will returned to Baltimore and joined Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, working for BG&E 35 years before retiring in 1990 to Lake Oconee in Eatonton Georgia. Will is survived by his sisters, Shirley Robertson and Dorothy Kundratic, son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Stephen and Amanda Durham, daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Arthur Pashayan, grandchildren, Christine Sikes, Mark, Leslie and Landon Durham, Ara and Andrew Pashayan. Willard Russell Durham will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife Elizabeth at the Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, Maryland, Friday April 10th at 11:30AM. Memorial services will be as followed: Saturday, April 11th at 2:00 PM at the Northminster Presbyterian Church, 705 Main Street, Reisterstown, Maryland; and Saturday, April 25th at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Griffin, 1349 Old Macon Road, Griffin, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Habitat for Humanity.
