Obituary for Wendy Lynn Royal
Wendy Lynn Royal, 50, of Eatonton Ga., passed away on December 7, 2016. Wendy was born in Milledgeville Ga., on March 29, 1966 to John Nat Royal and Lila Gazaway. She was a member of Marshall Memorial Baptist church in Eatonton Ga. She participated in the Special Olympics and had a passion for coloring. She was known as Pooh-Bear to her siblings and as KiKi to her nieces and nephews. She had worked at Piggly Wiggly, Dairy Queen, Sara Lee and the most rewarding job she had was for Putnam Jasper Service Center as a pieceworker. She was preceded in death by her step-father Hugh D. Fowler. The visitation will be held at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on December 9, 2016 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, the funeral will follow at 4:30 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery. She is survived by her mother; Lila G. Fowler of Eatonton Ga., her father; John N. Royal of Gulfport Ms., her siblings; Shannon (Jason) Minchey of Eatonton Ga., Michael (Cassandra) Fowler of Milledgeville Ga., and Nicki S. Fowler of Eatonton Ga., she was also an amazing aunt to 7 precious nieces and nephews, who thought the world of her, Alexis and Juli Minchey, Haley Fowler, Michael Phillips, Jaida Jackson, Aubrie Fowler and Tommy Batchelor. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation 3614 J. Dewey Gray Circle, Building C, Augusta Ga., 30909.
