Obituary for Virginia Lee Roberts
Virginia Roberts 83 of Eatonton passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016. Virginia was born in Gainesville, GA on February 23, 1933 to the late June Watson Stover and the late Annie Novella Noble Stover. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Douglas Roberts Sr., granddaughter Lynda Wood, great grandson Jacob Ryan Roberts, and sister Betty Batchelor. She was a member of Marshall Memorial Baptist Church, loved growing and taking care of her flowers and had a special love for all of her cats. The visitation will be on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel. A Graveside is planned for Wednesday, March 9, at 11 AM at Eatonton Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. John McMillian Sr. Virginia is survived by her children Douglas E. Roberts Jr, J.W Roberts of Eatonton, Novella Wood & husband Cecil of TN, 7 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, sister Elizabeth Jones of Eatonton and many nieces and nephews. .
