Shannon Michael Neal, 36, of Eatonton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Shannon was born on December 2, 1978 in Jonesboro, Georgia to Richard Michael Neal and Vickie Baldwin Neal Crisp. He was preceded in death by his grandfather George Baldwin, grandparents Alvin Neal, Mattie Neal. Shannon was a member of Lake Country Baptist church; he enjoyed outdoor sports, especially football, fishing, motorcycle riding and spending time with his daughter. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Lake Country Baptist Church at 2 PM. He is survived by his parents, daughter Shay Alyce Neal of Eatonton, sister Kimberly Ann Godwin & husband Robert Godwin of Alabama, Tammy Neal of Mansfield, grandmother Betty Baldwin of Buford, aunt Deb Medlin of Sugar Hill, nephew Justin Land nieces Abby Parker, Breanna Godwin, Jessie Mozingo, Amber Godwin. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers a trust fund has been set up for his daughter Shay Alyce Neal the details are below.
