Obituary for Sara "Jenny" Virginia Schuman
Sara Virginia Schuman 85 or Jenny as she was known by everyone who knew her passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014. Jenny was born in Eatonton to the late Roy Vining Sr. and Ruby Lee Whitten Vining on March 27, 1929. Jenny lived in Eatonton all of her life and attended Union Chapel Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ray Schuman, daughters Gail Linch and Brenda Jordan, brothers Roy Lee Vining Jr., William Vining, sisters Leola Pope and Bert Welch. The visitation will be on Sunday, June 22nd at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 4 to 6 PM. Services will be on Monday, June 23rd, at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 10 AM, interment will follow the service at Pine Grove Cemetery. Jenny is survived by her sons Charles (Beth) Linch and Ronald ‘Bartow’ (Virginia) Linch of Eatonton, Grandchildren Kelly (Kenny) Gilliard, Scarlet Poole, Matthew (Allison) Hall and Joshua Hall, great grandchildren Alyssa, Lane , Seth, Sara, Evan, brother Walter(Barbara) Vining and sister Polly Parham. Memorial contributions can be made to Union Chapel United Methodist Church in her memory.
