Obituary for Sandra Barr
Sandra Diane Maddox Barr, 75, of Eatonton , passed away on November 1, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Ft. Myers, Fla.to the late Walter Terrell and Lillie Bernice Townsend Maddox. She was preceded in death by her two sisters Helen Williams and Evelyn Marshall. She has lived in Eatonton most of her life and was a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church. Ms. Sandra, as she was known, was famous for cooking, especially her cakes, cheese straws, chicken salad and pimento cheese. Although she enjoyed cooking, her true love and passion was always her family. The visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Philadelphia UMC at 10am, with the service following at 11. The burial will be in the church cemetery. Ms. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 54yrs., Wayne Barr, as well as, two daughters Lori(Jeff) Guyton and Denise (Jimmy) Lewis. Her two sisters Linda(Joe)Selby and Doris(Carey) Shupe. She has eleven grandchildren, Dustin(Kristen) Turk, Kaleb(Dayna) Turk, Rob Barr, Ryan(Haley) Bedgood, Brittan Cleveland, Candler Cleveland, Trent Jones, Kyle Jones, Emily Lewis, Codee(Ross) Rainey, Zach Guyton, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Philadelphia United Methodist Church Building Fund or the Cancer Fund of your choice.
