Obituary for Russell Jean Hanson SR
Russell Hanson Sr. 72 of Eatonton passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. He was born in Hawkinsville, GA on March 1, 1949 to the late Jewell Joe Hanson and Blanche Peacock Hanson. Russell was a member and deacon of Harmony Baptist Church and enjoyed reading his bible. He also loved loud music, dancing and was an avid fan of the Georgia Bull Dogs. Russell also loved spending time with his loving family. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 5 to 7 PM, the service is planned for Friday, May 21, 2021 at Harmony Baptist Church at 2 PM, burial will follow after the service at the church cemetery. Russell is survived by his son Russell Jean Hanson Jr., daughter Paula Hanson Stewart (Watson), sister Ann Copelan, brother Ronald Hanson, grandchildren Noah, Emily, Rebecca, Elizabeth Hanson, Dalton Stewart & Behlyn Stewart Knowles and great grandchildren Landon & Addison Stewart and one on the way!
