Obituary for Ruby Lillian Batchelor
Ruby Lillian Batchelor passed away on September 21, 2019 in Eatonton Ga. She was born in Eatonton on May 11, 1927, to the late Alva Alberta and Beulah Richardson Cumbie. Ms. Ruby retired after years of service as a Paraprofessional with the Putnam County Board of Education. She was a member of Marshall Memorial Baptist Church of Eatonton Ga., and her greatest pleasure was being with her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Griffith Batchelor, Sr. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Marshall Memorial Baptist Church 190 Imperial Mill Rd. Eatonton Ga. 31024 The visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 11:00am at Marshall Memorial Baptist Church , with the service following at 12pm. The burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter Debbie(Al) Butts of Sparta, Ga., her son Buddy(Judy) Batchelor of Good Hope, Ga., and four grandchildren Leigh Ann(Vaughn) Cheely, Jason Butts, Jennifer(Shane) Comer and Brian(Lina) Batchelor. She also has nine great grandchildren Eli and Omi Cheely, Haley and Garrett Butts, Alli, Georgia and Ava Comer, Mason and Sophia Batchelor, as well as, a great great grandchild Braelynn Butts. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
