Obituary for Ron Moore
Ron Moore 89 of Eatonton passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his residence, with family at his side. Ron was born in Meridian, Mississippi on August 28, 1928 to the late Melvin Worthington Moore and Mamie Ruth Evans Moore.Ron was a veteran of the United States Navy Seabees having served in World War II. He enjoyed RV traveling, fishing, raising cows and was a devoted Masonic Lodge member. The visitation will be on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 10 AM to 11 AM, followed directly by a service at 11 AM. Burial and graveside service will be at Union United Methodist Church Cemetery in Stockbridge, Ga. at 2:30PM. He is survived by his wife Daphne, sons Wayne Moore & wife Bronwyn, son Scott Moore, grandchildren Jason, Jennifer, Lauryl, Ashley, Ryan and Mitchell, eleven great grandchildren and Many, Many friends who will miss him dearly. In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations may be made to the Shriner's Childrens Hospital, or St Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis,TN, or the Methodist Children's Home.
