Obituary for Robert Theodore Jaglowicz Jr.
Robert Jaglowicz, Jr. 71, of Eatonton, passed away peacefully with dignity and courage on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born November 5, 1944 to the late Robert Jaglowicz Sr. and the late Lillian Bond Jaglowicz in Louisville, KY. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife Charlotte Diane Beall Jaglowicz, and brother Michael Jaglowicz. Affectionately known by many as ‘Pollock’, Robert was self-made renaissance man. A retired Tool & Die Maker, he was also a Master Craftsman who built his home by hand, a self-taught gunsmith, and a more reliable weatherman than most anyone on television. Robert was highly skilled in the kitchen, and loved sharing his creations with family and friends. An avid outdoorsman and conservationist, Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bird watching. He treasured nature, loved to garden, and spent as much time as possible “rambling” outdoors. Services will be private. Robert is survived by his daughters Kristie Jaglowicz (Rene Daniel) of Gray, Jodi Jaglowicz of Kathleen, Natasha McEldowney of Perry, Tabi Jaglowicz Karlin (Nate) of Eatonton, honorary daughter Lauren Maddox Holder (Scotty) of Eatonton, and grandchildren Cody Jaglowicz, Dalton McEldowney, Madison McEldowney and sister Leta McKeithan (Mike) of Auburn. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Philadelphia United Methodist Church, Eatonton. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2016 AT ROY EMBRY'S CABIN AT 619 GREENSBORO ROAD, FROM 2:30 PM TO 6 PM ALL FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.
