Obituary for Ralph Harrison Carson
Ralph Carson 79 of Eatonton passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. He was born on October 13, 1936 in Eatonton to the late Walter Harrison Carson and Annie Lou Weems Carson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Walter Ray Carson. The visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 7 to 9 PM. A service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church at 10:30 AM. Ralph was a veteran of the Army National Guard and retired in 1996. Ralph retired from Forstman Woolen Division in 1998, and was a long time farmer and dairyman. He was a master gardener and a member of the Hemerocallis Society. Ralph is survived by his wife Jane Meadows Carson, daughter Le Anne Carson, grandchildren Abram Harrison Carson and Elijah Foster Carson, and cousins George Weems and Pat Weems who will miss him. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Wesley Chapel Church.
