Pamela McElhenney Lacey 54, of White Plains, GA passed away at her residence on June 25, 2024. She was born on September 9, 1969 in Macon, GA to Wanda Hallman and the late Gary McElhenney. Pam was employed by Vining Ivy Hill Chapel for over 26 years, she also worked for Joe DeGrandis Photography, and a short time worked at the Eatonton Messenger. She was a Star Student an Honor Graduate of Gatewood High School, she went to N. Georgia College and obtained a BA in English and Journalism and a minor in Photography. Pam was an avid reader and avid photographer she loved animals and farming, and her favorite food was her dad’s lasagna and her favorite drink was Dr. Pepper. In her spare time she was very active in Geneology. Pam also was a lover of her Boxer dogs. Pam also spent two summers at Philmont Boy Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico doing all their photography for incoming scouts,
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 11 am.
Pam is survived by her husband John Lacey, son John Luke Lacey, mother Wanda Hallman (Harry), brother Tom McElhenney (Amy) sisters Cristi Sheppard (Mike), Leslie Peebles (David), Carri Thomas (Jacob), Tammi Eubanks (Wade), Teena Garland (Allen) aunts Carole Tyler Lou Ann Vining (Michael), great aunt Maggie Carolyn Rentz, also numerous nieces and nephews and her puppy Rosie.
Pam was a person who will never be forgotten, she was honest, loving, and always available to help anyone who needed help, she will be missed by a lot of people who really knew her.
In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations in her memory to the Atlanta Boxer Rescue, Putnam County Animal control or Circle of friend Humane Society
