Ollie Dearman Rowsey 87, of Eatonton passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 at her residence. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Heritage Point Baptist Church @ Marshall Memorial at 12 PM, the service will follow at 3 PM. She was born in Eatonton on August 4, 1925 to the late Abb and Beulah Richardson Cumbie. She lived in Eatonton all her life, was a member of Heritage Point Baptist Church, retired from Enterprise Aluminum after 45 years, attended Marshall Memorial Baptist Church for 82 years and was a charter member of the VFW auxillary. “Nanny” as she was known to all who knew her was preceded in death by her parents; husband Johnnie Dearman, daughter Dolly Dearman Ingram and sister Gladys Hunnicutt. Survivors are her Daughter: Diane Royal & husband John, Sister: Ruby Batchelor, Grandchildren: Jay Crouch & wife Meredith ,Micki & Matt Ivey, Shannon Minchey, Brandon Dearman, Wendy Royal Great Grandchildren: Erika Denham & Brandon Hale, Haley Harrison, Kenslee Ivey, Alexis Minchey, Juli Minchey, Christian Crouch, Ethan Crouch, Cambell Crouch, Lukas Dearman, Kyler Dearman.Great Great Grandchild: Tyler Hutto. And special family: Ben Reese and the Roxie Denney family from Carroll County. Pallbearers: Danny Henderson, Gary Denham, Jason Minchey, Allen Reid, Mark Wilkie, Arnold Covington. Honorary Pallbearers: Rev & Mrs. John McMillian Sr, Rev & Mrs. Eugene Bess, Rev & Mrs Terry Richardson. Family requests dontations to Heritage point Baptist Church @ Marshall Memorial in lieu of flowers. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
