Obituary for Nita Anderson
Nita Anderson 81, of Eatonton Ga., passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016. She was born in Woodland, Alabama on November 8, 1935 to the late K.T and Esther Gosdin. Ms. Nita lived in Macon Ga., and was a member of Vineville Baptist Church, before moving to Eatonton Ga., more than 20 years ago. She worked at Kroger and was one of the first female managers, she retired after 37 years. She had a true passion for gardening and was always planting flowers. She also loved spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Robert Anderson Jr., and four siblings; Gervis Gosdin, Carol Gamble, Toney Gosdin, and Melodie Gosdin. The memorial service will be held at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 3:00 PM. She is survived by her sons; Richard (Robin) Anderson of Maysville, Ga., and John (Alisa) Anderson of Eatonton Ga., daughter-in-law Rochelle Anderson of Eatonton Ga., and three sisters; Jane (Lamar) Smith of Kingston Ga., Lynne Johnson of Lagrange Ga., and Dianne (Don) Turner of Lagrange Ga., her brother; Dervin (Marie) Gosdin of High falls Ga., and her sister-in-law; Jo Gosdin of Lagrange Ga., ten grandchildren; Matthew Anderson of Macon Ga., Trae (Caitlyn) Anderson of Eatonton Ga., Shelby (Cole) Anderson of Eatonton Ga., Bradley (Sean) Anderson of Savannah Ga., Brandi (Neal) Anderson of Eatonton Ga.,Blake Denham of Eatonton Ga., Brandon Denham of Savannah Ga., Courtney Denham of Washington Ga., Katie (Shawn) Waller of Eatonton Ga and Gavin Butler of Eatonton Ga. She is also survived by six precious great grandchildren; Audrey Dann, Riley Anderson, Colton Pope, Lyric Anderson, Austin Waller and Abigail Pope. Also surviving her are many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel Has Charge Of Arrangements.
