Obituary for Nancy Katherine Sikes
Nancy (Lady) Katherine Skelton Sikes 80, of Eatonton Ga., passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 26, 2017. Nancy was born in Rome Ga., on March 20, 1937 to the late Paul Ulmer Skelton and Myra Estelle McDaniel Skelton. Mrs. Nancy married the love of her life Bobby Sikes on Sunday, March 20, 1955. She has lived in Eatonton Ga., for 43 years and was a member of the Eatonton First United Methodist Church and the Robinson Dance Sunday school class. She enjoyed flowers, music and posting scripture on face book. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 3pm at Eatonton First United Methodist Church in the great hall. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Bobby Sikes of Eatonton, Ga., daughter, Patti (Kent) Asher of Conyers, Ga., Sons, David (Christine) Sikes of Colorado Springs, Co., Daniel (Barbara) Sikes of Macon, Ga., and Douglas Paul Sikes of Eatonton, Ga.,. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kathryn (Jonathan) Bishop of Canton, Ga., Keith (Melissa) Asher of Knoxville, Tn., Carolyn Asher of Conyers, Ga., Nina Marie Sikes of Colorado Springs, Co., Sascha Sikes of Colorado springs, Co. Mary Catherine Sikes to whom she was known as ‘Meme’ and 4 precious great grandchildren. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Eatonton First United Methodist Church In Loving Memory of Nancy (Lady) Katherine Sikes.
