Obituary for Michael Gary McDaniel
Michael Gary McDaniel of Eatonton passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Michael was born on May 25, 1951 to the late Milton W. McDaniel Sr. and Clara F. McDaniel. Michael was a long time resident of Eatonton and he loved the outdoors, taking long walks, and doing yard work. He is a veteran of the United States Marines having served during the Viet Nam War and also was a member of the Army National Guard. Michael retired from Rheem Manufacturing Company. A Visitation will be held at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3 PM. He is survived by his loving wife Lorraine McDaniel, children Nathan (Annette) McDaniel of Bundenbach Germany, Tina McDaniel of Allendale, SC, Sherri Holcombe (Craig) of Tifton, GA, brothers Milton W,. McDaniel Jr. (Jean) of Macon GA, Phillip D. McDaniel (Mary) of Eatonton, grandchildren Corey, Matthew, Anthony McDaniel, Sherri Brewer, Zackary Thomas, Hunter Holcombe, and several nieces and nephews. The family has requested that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory..
