Obituary for Mary Christine Roark
Christine Roark 86, of Eatonton passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 11, 2014. Christine was born in Eatonton on February 18, 1928 to the late Robert Parham and the late Essie Brudette Parham. She was a retired dairy farmer, and former owner of the Huddle House here in Eatonton. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and leading many people to Christ. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 13th at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 12 to 2 PM. The service will follow at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 2 PM. Interment will follow the service at Mr. Ararat United Methodist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her Husband; Hobart Roark, Children; Frances Emily & husband Thomas, Sue McDade & husband Eddie, Ann Dixon & husband Terrell, Richard Key & wife Shelia, Cathy Gardner & husband Paul, Emmett Mitchum, Sisters; Sadie Manville, Jean Nolan, Doris Arthur, Alice Cumbie and Brother Clyde Marshall, Step Children; Vanessa Shimler & husband Robert, Beverly Garrett & husband Rodney, Hobart Roark Jr., Shirley Craig & husband Eli and Larry Roark. 17 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild.
