Obituary for Margaret Elaine Gunnells
Elaine Gunnells 76 of Eatonton passed away at her residence on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Elaine was born on May 20, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio, and lived in Eatonton for 25 years. Elaine was a member of the East Side Baptist church and enjoyed yard work, and painting, she loved flowers, spending time with her family and really loved helping others no matter what they needed she was always there for them. Her love was shown a great deal while she was employed as a greeter at Walmart, always ready and willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed her. She will be greatly missed by many. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel. The Service will be on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 2 PM at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel. She is survived by her sons Larry Gunnells (Leslie) of Eatonton, Larry Brooks (Pam) of Douglasville, daughter July Luke (Gary) of Eatonton, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and all the people who learned from this lady how to love and how to be loved unconditionally.
