Obituary for Mae Elizabeth Collis
Mae Elizabeth Collis 84 passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Mae was born on January 17, 1931 in Monticello, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband H.T. Collis. Mae was a charter member of Lone Oak Baptist Church and was also the secretary at the church and she worked for the voting poles. The visitation will be on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 6 to 8 PM. The service will be on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Lone Oak Baptist Church at 10 AM. Mae is survived by her children Dianne Brown & husband Jim, Sandra Burgess, Danny Collis, Taylor Collis & wife Lu, sister Margie Cartledge of Covington, grandchildren Sandy Sheppard, Becky Renaud, Daniel Slaughter, Rick Wade, Aimee Wade, Janie Collis, Daniel Leonard Collis, Ty Collis, Jake Collis, Katie Collis Underwood, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
