Obituary for Mack Wayne Welch
Mack Wayne Welch 66 of Eatonton passed away at his residence on Friday, August 8, 2014. Wayne was born on May 11, 1949 in Atlanta to the late Mack Wren Welch and the late Lenora Olivia Gaddis. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Mark Keith Welch and sister Barbara Ann Hayes. Mr. Welch was a veteran of the United States Army, Master of the Masonic Lodge Rising Star # 4 of Eatonton, retired truck driver, and was a Minister with the Calvary Baptist Church. He also was a recipient of the Million Mile Safety Award. The visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Monday, August 11th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The services will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Tuesday, August 12th at 11 AM. Interment will follow the service at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Wayne is survived by his wife Hazel Nichols Welch, children Stacy Haire (Jackie) of Athens TN, Paula Finch (Darien)of Madison, GA and Jennifer Pannu (Naveen)of Mansfield GA, grand children Kristie Alford, Danielle Dunn, Brittany Holder, Dakota Stevenson, Alexis Stevenson and great grandchildren Jaylin Alford, Ty Hayden Alford, Bailey Taylor, Dalton Taylor.
