Obituary for Mable Leonard
Mable Leonard 86 of Eatonton passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. She was born in Eatonton September 7, 1927 to the late Charlie Croma Carnes and the late Chapel Waters Carnes. Mrs. Leonard attended Harmony Baptist Church and enjoyed spending her early days outdoors with horses, and later in life spending time with her family and friends, she enjoyed her church and Sunday school. Mrs. Leonard was preceded in death by her parents, son Jerrold Keith Holt and grandson Jerrold Keith Holt Jr. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 19th at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 6 to 8PM. Services will be on Friday, September 20th at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 11 AM. Interment will follow the service at Pine Grove Cemetey. She is survived by her sons: Johnny Jennings Holt III & wife Connie of Buckhead, Oliver ‘Gil’ Leonard & wife Susan of Buckhead, grandchildren: John Jennings Holt IV of Eatonton, Connie Lorraine ‘Lori’ Holt McInturff & husband Troy of Canton, Brandy Michele Holt of Eatonton, Elizabeth Makenzie Holt of Greensboro, Jerrold Keith Holt III of Greensboro, great-grandchildren: Erika Suzanne Holt, Emily Elizabeth Holt, Tad Richard Holt, Aubrey Lee Samuels Jr., Alexandria Marlee Samuels, and great-great-grandchild: Colbie Rae Stoley. And also her cats Midnight and Gracie. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
