Obituary for Loretta Ann Youmans
Ann Youmans 80, passed away Tuesday March 9th 2021. She was born in Gordon, Ga., to the late Ferral Lee and Mabel Elizabeth Collins Hawthone.
She went very peacefully with her daughter and granddaughter by her side. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She was known for her sweet and optimistic personality. She loved to hunt, fish, and travel. She will be missed but is dancing in Heaven!
She retired from international paper at the age of 65. Her and Benny Ray traveled and saw most of the United States. She was preceded in death by her husband Benny Ray Youmans and a son Hunter Youmans. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 1:30 to 3 pm., with a service following at 3 pm. She is survived by her daughter Christy (John) Matysiak, grandchildren Logan and Austin Matysiak, a brother Lee Hawthorne, and sister Elaine Walton, along with several nieces and nephew.
