Obituary for Lora Pittman
Lora Pittman 90, of Eatonton passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013. Lora was born in Covington, Ga. on February 11, 1923 to the late Zack and Ethel Elliot Patterson. She was a graduate of Porterdale High School. On October 10, 1953 she married Quentin Pittman, they have lived in Eatonton for 21 years. Mrs. Pittman was a member of First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Phoenix Homemakers, National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees, Robinson- Dance Sunday School. Visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Sunday, May 19th from 5 to 6 PM. The Services will be held at First United Methodist Church (Historic Sanctuary) on Monday, May 20th at 11 AM. Interment will be at Lawnwood Cemetery in Covington at 2:30 PM. Mrs. Pittman is survived by her husband Quentin Pittman, son Phil Pittman & wife Debbie, sister Macel Lindsey, granddaughters Victoria Lora Pittman and Ryann Alexandria Pittman, sister in law Mozelle Green of Decatur, Ga. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made To Junior Youth Fellowship at First United Methodist Church.
