Obituary for Lila Fowler
Lila Fowler 77 of Eatonton passed away on Saturday,January 22, 2022.Lila was born on February 7,1944 to the late Grady and Lillian Gazaway. She lived in Eatonton her entire life and was a member of Marshall Memorial Baptist Church. She worked for the Putnam Jasper Service Center for 32 years. She enjoyed spending vacations at the beach and in the mountains. She was very out going and was committed to helping special needs children. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Hugh Dorsey Fowler, daughter Wendy Lynn Royal and sister Nancy Carswell. Lila is survived by her children Shannon Minchey (Jason), Michael Fowler (Cassandra),and Nicki Fowler, grandchildren Michael Phillips, Tommy Batchelor, Haley Fowler, Alexis Minchey, JuliAnna Minchey, Jaida Jackson and Aubrie Fowler and two great grandchildren.
