Obituary for Lenese Thompson
Lenese Thompson 97 of Eatonton passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012. Mrs. Thompson was a native of Wheeler County, but lived in Eatonton for many years, she was a member of Snow Hill Baptist Church in Glenwood, Georgia. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Thompson, a daughter Ila Marie Thompson, her mother & father Joel Preston Thompson and Ella Mercer Thompson, two sisters Avery Lea Thompson Joiner and Bessie Thompson McCrackin and a brother Jack Thompson. Visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM. The service will be on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Snow Hill Baptist Church in Glenwood, Ga. at 2 PM. Visitation at the church from 1 PM until the service time. Lenese is survived by a daughter Patricia Thompson Watson of Warner Robins, a son Joe Thompson & wife Mary Lee of Eatonton, grandson John Ogburn of Warner Robins sisters Sybil Thompson Gray of Monroe & Annette Thompson of Glenwood and several nieces and nephews. The family has respectfully requested donations can be made to Snow Hill Baptist Church PO Box 435, Glenwood, Ga. 30428. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of the arrangements
