Obituary for Katherine Rogers
Katherine Rogers 93 of Eatonton passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 28, 2015. Katherine was born in Newborn, Georgia on July 4, 1921 to the late Troy Lee and Ludie B. Thomason Henderson. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband James Donald Rogers and daughter Gwen Haynes. In her spare time Katherine enjoyed gardening, raising cattle and horses. The visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 4 to 8 PM. The service will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 2 PM, burial will follow at Eatonton Memorial Park. She is survived by her daughter Susan Moon & husband Emory, 5 sisters, grandchildren Blake, Greg, & Jeff Johnson, Howard Hodges, Bo Haynes, Kelly Johnson, Duane Moon, also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
