Obituary for Johnnie Randall George Jr.
Johnnie R. George, Jr., 92 died peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2015.
Mr. George was born on January 10, 1923, in Eatonton Ga. to the late John R and Olive Martin George.
A World War II combat veteran, he served this nation with honor and distinction flying with the United States Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theater. Following World War II, he continued in civil service at Robins Air Force Base as a logician and program manager until retirement.
His parents, his brother, Robert S. Georg, and his wife and life partner of sixty-one years, Nell G. George preceded Mr. George in death.
His legacy will continue through the lives of his sons, Mike(Ann)George and Randy George, his daughter, Janet(Ron) Alexander, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 1 PM until 2 PM at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel, Eatonton, GA. A graveside service will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Eatonton, GA. In Lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Pine Point Hospice care, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA.
