Obituary for John (J W) Watson Roberts
John (JW) Roberts of Eatonton Ga, passed away on October 16, 2016. JW was born on April 16, 1953 to the late Douglas Eugene Sr. and Virginia Lee Stover Roberts of Eatonton Ga. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. Mr. JW was very involved in his church and loved telling the world about Jesus. He enjoyed spending time with his children and his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, JW was preceded in death by his loving wife, Deborah Roberts and his grandson Jacob. He is survived by his Children, Anthony Roberts of Warner Robins, Ga, TC Roberts, Jessica Schnetzer (Matt) both of Eatonton Ga., a brother, Douglas Eugene Roberts Jr. of Eatonton Ga., and a sister, Novella Wood (Jerry) of Lebanon Tn., 13 grandchildren, and by several nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held on October 18, 2016 at Crossroads Baptist church in Eatonton Ga., at 1:00 Pm the funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in Eatonton Ga. The family ask that any memorial contributions be made to Agape Hospice in Eatonton Ga. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel has charge of arrangements
