Obituary for John "J." Hubert Park
John Hubert Park passed away on May 7, 2019 at the age of 39. Known as “J.” to all his family and friends, he was born on November 19, 1979 at the Baldwin County Hospital in Milledgeville, Georgia. “J.” graduated from Putnam County High School in 1998 and went on to attend Gordon College in Barnesville, Georgia where he graduated with an Associate Degree. “J.” also attended some classes at the University of Georgia. “J.” was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Eatonton. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and his friends. He is survived by his mother, Susan Victoria Peck Park, his brother, Richard Sidney Park III, sister-in-law Aimee and his precious nephews, Ace, James and Aaron. He was preceded in death by five of the most important people in his life: His father, Richard Sidney Park, Jr. and his grandparents, John and Mary Elizabeth Peck and “Sid” and Francis Park, Sr. A Celebration Of Life for “J.” Park will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Eatonton First United Methodist Church from 5pm-7pm in the gathering room of The Great Hall. One of his last great acts of kindness was to become an organ donor through LifeLink of Georgia. This unselfish act will help improve and save other lives throughout our state. The family thanks everyone for their visits, for the food, but most especially for the prayers that were offered for both “J.” and for the entire family. They are also especially grateful to LifeLink of Georgia for their professionalism and kindness during this most difficult process.
