Obituary for James Ray Hawk
James Ray Hawk 62 of Putnam County, passed away on November 5, 2016. He was born on September 7, 1954 in Columbus Georgia, to the late John Floyd Hawk and Frances Hazel Simons. He is preceded in death by his son Dustin Lee Mashburn. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, but above all he was a family man. The visitation will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, the Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Crossroads Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, the burial will follow at Eatonton Memorial Park. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Lisa Jones Hawk, his children, Krystal (Cecil) Epps and Clinton Thomas Wofford., his Mother and stepfather Hazel (Tommy) Roberts, his siblings, Elaine Hawk (Ricky) Towler, John W. (Connie) Hawk and Jody (Rhonda) Hawk, his grandchildren, Connor Mashburn, Lillyann Misa, Laci Epps, Dylan Epps, and Dustin Wofford, 13 nieces and nephews and 22 great nieces and great nephews. Also surviving him, is his mother-in-law Elizabeth Jones, sisters-in-law, Helen Carnes, Victoria Bruce, Gwen (Jerry) Melton, and Lu (Taylor) Collis, and brother-in-law Jimmy (Lea) Jones. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel Had charge of Arrangements.
