Obituary for James McCullough
James McCullough 74 of Eatonton passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016. James was born in McDonough, GA on January 30, 1942 to the late Tillman McCullough and the late Elizabeth Coker McCullough and has lived in Eatonton since 1980. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara Vaughn McCullough, brothers Charles, Billy, Raleigh, Junior and Gene McCullough, and sister Martha Ragan. While he was growing up he helped to care for his brothers and sisters, and enjoyed his time spent cooking with his mother. James was proud of the moment he saw the love of his life Barbara and learned a lot of cooking skills from her. He started in 1972 doing sheet metal work and retired in 1999 when he was 57 years old. James enjoyed traveling to Atlanta for many years. The visitation will be held at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel on April 9, 2016 from 1 to 2 PM, a memorial service will follow at 2 PM. He is survived by his daughter Betsy Ann Green of Fontana, FL, granddaughter Rebecca Hart of Fontana FL, 3 great grandchildren, brother Tony Lee McCullough, sisters JoJo Stowers, Rachel Shumate, Peggy Moss, Linda Martin, Shirley Kendall, and Betty Sue Womack all of Conyers, Step children Steve (Lesia) Reid, Alan (Ginger Collins) Reid, and Joy Coleman Step grandchildren Eric, Matthew and Kristen Reid, Jill Reid Ramsey and Collin Reid, and Reid Coleman.
