Obituary for James 'Jimmy' Culberson
James (Jimmy) W. Culberson passed away peacefully on Monday January 11th, 2021 at the age of 71. There will be no service at this time, the family will have a celebration of life at a later date. James born in Greensboro, GA to the late Harold Culberson and Sarah Hallman of Eatonton, GA. James was married to Charlotte Wagner for the past 50 years. They had two children a son Jamey Culberson (Christine), daughter Rene Cason (Jesse), 8 grandkids Justin Fluker, Kaleb Fluker, Megan Cason, Trey Culberson, Merritt Culberson, Trevor Culberson, Tanner Culberson and McKeena Bradley, and numerous nieces and nephews. James is also survived by a sister Peggy Allen of Eatonton. James served 5 years in the United States Army having served 2 tours of duty in Viet Nam and was a recipient of a Purple Heart. He worked for the telephone company in Milledgeville most of his life, and made many friends while being with GTE, Alltel and Windstream. James enjoyed visiting each morning for the past few years with all his friends from Popeye’s, you each know who you are and know that he thought so much of each of you and of course Eric Schremmer.
