Obituary for Gregory Forrest Maddox
Gregory Forrest Maddox, 54 of Eatonton Ga, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 with his loving wife by his side. He was born on August 31, 1962 in Griffin Georgia to the late James Ronald Maddox and Patricia Diane Crawford. The visitation will be on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 10:30Am. The Funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and had a love for playing with his grandkids and with his dogs that were like his four legged children. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his sister- in- law Dona Stewart, they shared a special bond. Greg is survived by his wife of 29 years, Dana Wilson Maddox, his children, Roxanne & Jorge Rodriguez, Ronald J. Maddox, Jacob Wilson and adopted into our family Harvey & Cassie Stewart, his mother, Patricia & Grady Morris, his siblings, Scott Maddox & Gene Sills and Jerilyn & Greg Chambers, and stepfather Jerry Gray. He is also survived by nine precious grandchildren, Haylee, James, Alexzander, and April Rodriguez, Lydia Maddox, Jacob Collis Wilson, Justin Spencer, and Wyatt and Madalyn Stewart. Also surviving him is his mother-in –law Ruby Wilson and his sisters- in –law Janie Harwell, Margret & Bennie Holder, and Nancy Mason. He also has several niece and nephews and great nieces and nephews and great- great nieces and nephews surviving him. Donations may be made to Vining Ivy Hill Chapel. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel had charge of arrangements.
