Obituary for Gertrude Schell
Gertrude Schell 80 of Eatonton entered into eternal rest Friday, May 17, 2013. Visitation will be on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Central Methodist Church from 1 to 2 PM. A memorial service will follow at 2 PM. Mrs. Schell leaves behind a family and a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Leon Schell: two sons Victor Stevens and wife Kay, and Terry Stevens, her grandson, Cliff Stevens, and four great-grandchildren: Dylin Stevens, Sydnie Stevens, Cyleigh Knight and Vincent Lee Stevens. She is also survived by her two brothers; Gale Hightower and Marvin Hightower. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jake Hightower and her grandson, Vincent Lamar Stevens. She and Leon are members of Central Methodist Church and of the body of Christ. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, any love offerings be made in her honor to the charity, church or cause of their choosing. The family wishes to thank all who have expressed their love and kindness throughout her illness and now in her passing Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
