Obituary for Gerald Lee Davis, Sr.
Gerald Lee Davis, Sr. (The Judge) age 87, passed away suddenly at his home on May 15, 2019. Gerald was born in Eatonton on June 11, 1931 to the late Harvey Lee Davis and Aileen Crisp Kinzy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loraine Davis and his daughter, Luann Davis Williams. For many years Gerald was employed by The Georgia Department of Labor. Gerald was a faithful member of The Rising Star Masonic Lodge #4 for 50 plus years where he served for over 30 years as secretary. He was also a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Margery Knowles of Eatonton, Buck (Eleanor) Barber of Alpharetta, Lee Davis, Jr. of Eatonton, and Derrick (Mary Ann) Hulsey of Brunswick, Grandchildren, Missy (Aaron) Maune, Julie (Pat) Holder, Laura (Mark) Cheshire, Kerry (Chris) Puckett, Hayden Barber, Katie (J.P) Stewart, Larry Barber, Chip (Tricia) Barber, Jordan Davis, Jimbo (Ashley) Williams, Jerry (Cindy) Williams, and Jay (Kristi) Williams, and 27 Great Grandchildren. In Lieu of Flowers, the family request donations to Crossroads Baptist Church Building Fund or to Rising Star Masonic Lodge #4. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
