Obituary for Gale Hightower Sr.
Gale William Hightower Sr. 75, of Eatonton passed away at his residence on Sunday, October 27, 2013. Mr. Hightower was born on January 31, 1938 in Eatonton to the late William Hopee Hightower and the late Fannie Bales Hightower. Visitation will be on Monday, October 28th at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 6 to 8 PM. The Services will be on Tuesday, October 29th at Wesley Chapel Church at 11 AM. Interment will be at the church cemetery following the service. Mr. Gale was retired from the Army National Guard and was a member of the Eatonton Elks Lodge for many years, he especially enjoyed his favorite pastime which was playing golf. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Audrey Shaw Hightower, sister Gertrude Schell and brother Jake Hightower. Mr. Hightower is survived by his wife: Jo Leverette, son: Gale W. Hightower Jr., of Eatonton, daughter: Adrian Hightower-Eldridge of Marietta, Brother Marvin Hightower and Grandchildren: Jennifer, Hannah & William Hightower, Marek & Matthew Eldridge.
