Obituary for Frances Wall
Frances Christine “Cricket” Wall 79, of Eatonton passed away on Saturday, September 8th at her residence. Visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, September 10th. A Memorial Service is scheduled at Crossroads Baptist Church at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 11th. Mrs. Wall was born in Fulton County, Georgia on October 8, 1932 to Vernie and Sara Christine Baxley Braswell. Mrs. Wall was preceded in death by her husband Choice Wall, Brothers Ray, Tim and Gene Braswell and a Sister Katherine Braswell. She lived here for 15 years having moved from Watkinsville and is a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Mrs. Wall was known by many as “Meme” or “Cricket”. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Hester & husband David of Eatonton, Grandchildren: Damaris Callaway & husband Lynn, Dana Butterworth & husband Stuart, and DeAnn Hester. Sisters & Brothers: Billy Braswell & wife Margie, Ruth Spratlin & husband Bo, Becky Montgomery & husband Woodson, Linda Butler & her late husband Spencer, Charlotte Craft and Johnny Braswell. Also survived by Great Grand children: Phillip Callaway & wife Heather, Gavin Hester, Kourtni Callaway, Owen Luke, Gage and Cole Snipes. Great Great Grandchildren: Hannah Hester and Cash Callaway. and many nieces and nephews. Vining Ivy Hill Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
