Obituary for Eva Winslette
Eva Winslette, 79, of Warner Robins, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 12, 2014. Originally from Machen, Georgia, she became a resident of Warner Robins in 1957. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. She was the beloved wife of Emerson Hugh Winslette, who preceded her in death in 1997. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 16th at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel, Eatonton from 6 to 8 PM, services will be on Thursday, July 17th at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Eatonton Memorial Park following the service She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Anna Belle Vaughn Harper, and siblings Charles Harper, Myrtle Lawrence, Mary Chapman, Frances Bloodworth, Vera Cranford, Lottie Chalker and James Harper. She is survived by her two sons, Hugh Thomas Winslette and Wesley L. Winslette, sisters Mae Belle Batchelor and Ida Mae Ramsey, grandchildren Jennifer Orenstein, Julie Schoenbeck, Emily Winslette, Paige Winslette, Rachel Heimann, Elisabeth Winslette and Anna Winslette, great-grandchildren Xaviana Winslette and Jacob Orenstein. Vinings Ivy Hill Chapel of Eatonton is in charge of arrangements.
