Obituary for Elsie Elaine Miller

Elsie Miller 80, of Eatonton passed away on November 15, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Kingsland, GA on February 28, 1943 to the late Millard and Mildred Peeples Smith. She was a member of Marshall Memorial Baptist Church, and was a great seamstress, she enjoyed gardening, but most of all loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most of all Elsie loved the Lord. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents and great grandson Caden Griffin, sisters Frances White, Aldaria Jesinghaus and Ella Mae Drury.


A visitation will be on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 2 to 3 pm at Marshall Memorial Baptist Church,

followed by a service at 3 pm.


Burial will be on Saturday at Brezell-Peeples Family Cemetery in Kingsland, GA


Elsie is survived by her daughters Tonya Griffin (Reid), Zina Finn, Aneka McReady (fiancé Eddie Whitmire), grandchildren Wil Griffin (Mandy), Chesley McReady, Marlie Griffin, Alyssa Martinez (Randy), Bailey McReady, Alaina Finn, great grandchildren Hayden Griffin, Camden Griffin, Sidney Griffin, Lucas Martinez, and several nieces and nephews.
