Obituary for Edwina Liles
Edwina Liles 93 of Eatonton passed away at her residence on Tuesday, March 29, 2021. She was born on December 27, 2021 in Eatonton to the late Grady and Mary Batchelor. Edwina was preceded in death by her parents, sister Wilma Williamson and husband James David Liles Sr. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and also a member of the Golden Girls Club and Robinson Dance Sunday School at the church. She also enjoyed quilting. The visitation will be held at First United Methodist Church in the Great Hall on March 31, 2021 at 1 PM followed by a service at 2 PM in the Old Sanctuary. Edwina is survived by her son James ‘Jimmy’ David Liles Jr. grandchild Alexa Liles sister Lugenia Snow, nieces Libby Snow Haley, Josie Hickom, Maria Morton, Carol Liles Jolly, nephews Steve Williamson, Mike Liles, also survived by several Great nieces and nephews. The family has suggested that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to First United Methodist Church in her memory.
